Monique Darnell, LPC, CAADC, CCMHC, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor & CEO/Founder
Monique Darnell, LPC, CAADC, CCMHC, NCC is a licensed professional counselor and the CEO/Founder of MRD&CA Solutions LLC, offering secure telehealth therapy to adults throughout Georgia. Monique’s work is rooted in helping people find their way back to themselves after seasons of survival, emotional overextension, or silent suffering. She specializes in trauma recovery, anxiety, relationship distress, and major life transitions, with particular care for women who have spent years being strong for everyone else while feeling unseen, depleted, or disconnected inside.
Many clients who enter therapy with Monique are carrying the weight of unprocessed childhood pain, attachment wounds, complex family dynamics, or faith-related hurt—often without realizing how deeply these experiences have shaped the way they cope, love, overgive, or live on guard. Survival mode can look like people-pleasing, hyper-independence, emotional shutdown, perfectionism, or repeatedly choosing relationships that echo old wounds. Monique helps clients name these patterns with compassion and begin releasing what no longer serves their healing.
Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally attuned, and identity-affirming, blending structure and softness in a way that supports both stabilization and deeper repair. Sessions often integrate CBT and DBT-informed strategies, nervous-system and somatic awareness, and inner-child/parts-work to gently reconnect clients with the younger parts of themselves that learned to survive through protection, performance, or silence. Therapy is collaborative and paced with care—helping clients build emotional safety, strengthen boundaries, regulate stress responses, and cultivate self-trust from the inside out.
Monique believes healing is not about becoming someone new; it’s about returning to who you were before the wound—and learning how to hold yourself with tenderness and truth. Her work supports clients in moving from merely functioning to feeling grounded, whole, and emotionally free.
